Mike Dukart's first job out of the US Marines Corp was as a driver of VIP's for the famed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Due to the sporadic nature of his duties, Mike was offered ample time to hang out with the geese at Rochester's Silver Lake, a popular stopping ground for thousands of migrating Canada geese.

An avid hunter, Mike paid close attention to how the honkers communicated. One day, on a whim, he bought a goose call and tried it out on the geese. Thousands of goose heads popped up at alert. Disappointed, Mike tried other calls with similar results.

Undeterred, Mike was forced to modify what he felt was the best available call in order to give full tonal range so he could truly communicate with the geese. He took his new call hunting and soon found himself guiding goose hunters for a living. Invariably, hunters wanted to buy the special call and he would have to make another.

Finally, Mike decided to make his own calls, which proved to perform even better. Demand for the calls soon went beyond his clients, making it difficult for Mike to share his valuable know-how. So, he recorded his teachings and sent them along with each call.

Today, the Illusion Wildlife Communication System still includes an educated CD-ROM featuring Mike and his line of total tone calls expanded beyond waterfowl to include deer and turkey. And with multiple patented products in the whitetail and turkey industries, Duke is living proof that anything you want to accomplish in life is truly possible.
