Extinguisher Provokes Response

Rochester, Minnesota—During the past 4 years, Illusion Game Call Systems Owner Mike Dukart has been using video for the purpose of studying social behavior and hierarchal characteristics of white-tailed deer.

Dukart has taken this information—gathered through countless hours of video footage—for the extended development of The Extinguisher Deer Calling System, specifically aimed to unveil and extrapolate behaviors exhibited by a dominant in any given area, thus making him and easier target for hunters looking to harvest the biggest buck in their hunting area. “We have recently documented some never before seen aggressive behavior from a dominant buck,” stated Dukart. “We’ve captured on video the story of a submissive buck whose behavior changed once the dominant buck was harvested. We then called in this newly crowned dominant buck with the Extinguisher Calling System and watched him display an aggressive ‘spitting’ toward our decoy. This buck was purposely passed-up during archery season so we could take the opportunity to study and document his behavior as the dominant buck in the area.”

This video—more than 15 minutes of point-blank dominant buck footage—continues to be used for the research and development of Illusion’s new utility patented deer calling system, The Extinguisher. Coined as the “Dominant Spit” by Dukart, the Extinguisher has provoked a response previously unseen and undocumented by hunters.
After being called to a stand/ buck decoy setup, the dominant buck displayed all the customary responses expected from an aggressive deer—bristled hair, stiff legged, pinned ears—accompanied by excessive oral foaming that elevated to the actual projection of saliva at a distance to 2-3 feet.

Where this new information obtained by the Extinguisher will take deer hunting is still uncertain, but the Illusion team continues to be hard at work to unlock this mystery.
